Local Unions Ready to Tee Off
For the 22nd year, three local unions will tee off to provide funds for the SBAWP FireFly Camps and Retreats program. The annual event that is open to everyone is sponsored by the Boilermakers Local 154, the Steamfitters Local 449, and the Ironworkers Local 3. These three unions have championed sending youth and adults to summer camps and weekend retreats.
The event will be held at the South Hills Country Club on Monday, July 26th. Thirty-six foursomes will have a shotgun start in the afternoon and up to 36 foursomes in the morning as well. Breakfast and brunch will be served throughout the day with a dinner and auction that night. The $1 million dollar hole in one contest will highlight the start of the afternoon along with opportunities to win cars and other prizes throughout the day.
Entry fees are Gold Sponsor - $1,500 (4 Players) and Silver Sponsor - $800 (2 players). Tee signs can be sponsored for a fee of $150. All registrations must be made through the unions. For additional details and registration information, contact the Boilermakers Local at 412-343-3072.
